There are few key features of Microsoft Project
2010 which are worth mentioning which really improved my productivity.
- Timeline View: One can easily create a timeline with milestones by displaying selected milestones in timeline.
- Inactive tasks: One can easily see multiple scenarios in scheduling with this feature. This feature is also very useful for risk management. You can add an additional task to keep buffer for risk and you need to just deactivate this task to see a schedule without risk.
- Enhanced Copy and Paste: You can copy MS Project information into MS office tools without loosing any formatting. It helps a lot in sharing project/program information with users who do not have any MS Project installed in there system.
